Besides writing and poetry, Rachel loves to bring beautiful scenes to you in photographs.
Driving is one of my favorite pastimes. Wether I'm operating the car, or just riding. I especially love going through new places, and more specifically when that new place is in the mountains! Being in the mountains makes me feel like I can breathe easier, and I just want to stop on the side of the road and stay there forever.

At one time, I was going to enter a photography contest. The challenge for the contest was "What is it?" I didn't end up entering the contest, but I got a few neat pictures!

I was sixteen the first time I rode a horse. My family was staying an old one room cabin on a horse ranch in the smoky mountains. After a week of learning how to take care of the horses, feeding them, and cleaning their stalls, we took an all day ride through the mountains. I haven't gotten the chance to ride very often, but I've loved it ever since!

Winter Day
I really don't like the snow at all, but sometimes it just calls to photographed. At least a picture is one good thing that can come from snow!

My Dad has played the piano since he was little, and so has my brother, and his wife. My sister also started learning a couple of years ago. I don't play the piano myself, but I love to hear them play. I also enjoy singing. Our grandmother calls on the phone almost every day to hear someone perform some sort of music for her.

Lake's Rim
Just living during the summertime is probably my favorite hobby! I love the heat, sunshine, the pool, having the windows open all day long, growing a garden, and so much more. I could put dozens of pictures of summertime here, but I guess I'll just put this one. This is a photo of a lake we walked the rim of in North Carolina a couple of summers ago.

Food is fabulous! For my family's Christmas this year, we made cinnamon rolls for breakfast. It was a new recipe, and they turned out great!

Three Days On I-90
This picture was taken on a very memorable trip across the country. I believe it was taken somewhere near Bozeman, Montana. This trip was the first time I had really seen anyplace west of the state of Illinois. It was very fun, and I absolutely fell in love with the west.
